Essence des phénomènes est Vacuité    Đương thể tức không    當體即空
It is the vacuity of all beings and things, their absence to be in itself, in other words the nonexistence of any essence, any fixed and independent character.
Example: Clouds are unreal. Although we can see them moving in the sky, these clouds are however unreal before they disintegrate and disappear. "Non-reality" cannot say that "clouds do not exist ", but they do not have their own existence, they cannot be formed by themself but by the steam of water and cold air.
